QLD Chapter Meeting:

AS/NZS/ISO 23875 requirements and control of dust exposures in operator enclosures (cabs)

Liam Wilson

Certified Occupational Hygienist with over 25 years of industry experience. Liam has Post Graduate qualifications in Industrial Hygiene Science, a B.Sc., and an Ad. Dip. in Plant Process Technology. Liam is a Board Member of the International Society of Environmental Enclosure Engineers (ISEEE – USA non-profit). Liam is an Industry representative on a number of Industry and Institute Health & Safety Committee’s and Working Groups. Liam is an Industry member on Standards Australia and ISO

Liam has worked in the Private and Public sectors, in mining, construction, manufacturing, refining and smelting. Liam has worked globally in Australia, North America, UK, Iceland and Africa covering commodities including coal, aluminium, diamonds, copper and uranium. Liam has worked for Companies including Rio Tinto, BHP and Alcoa.

Liam has presented a number of papers over the years at the AIOH Annual Scientific Conference. Liam’s roles have covered everything from and in between a “Walk through Survey” to Executive Committee approval and implementation of the Organisation wide Health & Hygiene Strategies.

Will be presenting as an SA and ISO committee member on the AS/NZS/ISO 23875 requirements and control of dust exposures in operator enclosures (cabs).

Networking, as well as the food and non-alcoholic drink service, will continue after the presentation.

AIOH student members – $5 (student cards to be shown for entry)
