AIOH Chapter Meeting – South Australia- 25 October 2024
The use of alternate fuels to provide power vehicles with a view to supplement and replace traditional hydrocarbon-based fuels are gaining popularity across the world. One alternative to hydrocarbon fuels that is available and becoming widely used in the private and commercial sector are Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).
At the inception of a BEV trial at an underground Copper project in the United States, an occupational hygiene (OH) sampling plan was developed to measure the potential impact of this energy transition trial, to compare with the traditional combustion engine vehicles.
