OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES 4th International Scientific Conference of the International Occupational Hygiene Association The IOHA Board, upon recommendation of the Conference’s organisers from the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists, selected the theme of IOHA’s 4th International Scientific Conference: Occupational Hygiene in Developing Countries.
Given the location of the Conference, Australia, and its proximity to many developing countries in the Pacific and Asia regions, the organisers were committed to a conference whose theme would be practical solutions to occupational health problems in countries where both the government and private infrastructure in occupational hygiene was yet to be finalised.
