Due to expanding operations we are currently seeking applications for a full-time Senior Occupational Hygiene Consultant, with project management skills to be based in our Perth, WA office with a progressive management team, including technical discipline leaders.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide occupational hygiene services to our clients in the field, including assessments and monitoring not limited to:

  • Occupational exposure monitoring, sampling plan development and statistical analysis.
  • Health Hygiene Management Plan and Health Risk Assessments.
  • Occupational health hazard control plan development.
  • Occupational noise & vibration surveys.
  • Hazardous substance and dangerous goods management, and,
  • Asbestos monitoring, audits, surveys and management system development.
  • Write and review Technical Reports.
  • Develop and review technical proposals including project costing.
  • Manage project resources effectively to provide successful outcomes for clients.
  • Internally develop and review procedural documentation to maintain quality control.

Minimum candidate requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience across a broad range of Occupational Hygiene disciplines and related industries.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, OHS, Science and/or Environmental disciplines.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Occupational Hygiene.
  • Full membership (MAIOH) of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) or equivalent is essential. COH status would be desirable.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with high-level clients.
  • The ability and willingness to manage a split between office and site-based work, which includes extended periods of time away.
  • Competent computer skills in Microsoft, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work well either independently or in a team environment.
  • The ability to communicate information to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Project management skills.
  • A current active C Class (Manual) driver’s license.
