About the session

The storyline of this presentation would be presented from the perspective of a newly recruited occupational hygienist who is preparing for their first turnaround, how they play a pivotal role during every stage of the process and how they must adapt to dynamic conditions. Additionally, this would serve as a refresher for seasoned professionals, enriching their understanding and application of best practices during critical turnaround periods.

Speaker: Neil Goulding 

Neil has been working as an industrial hygienist since 1996. His spans across government and oil and gas operations. He has experience across Upstream and Downstream oil and gas operations. He is currently located in Melbourne and supports operations across the lower Asia Pacific region.

Speaker: Fouad Rizk

Fouad has been working in industrial hygiene since 2010. His career started by working in a uranium mine located in central Australia. In 2015, he joined ExxonMobil as an industrial hygienist at the Melbourne refinery before relocating to Singapore in 2022 to work as a hygiene supervisor.
