Learning from the other side of the world: Lessons from the UK & Australian occupational hygiene experience
Presenter(s): Alison Margary
Presentation from Alison Margary (BOHS), Chartered Occupational Hygienist and current President of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) – The Chartered Society for Worker Health Protection.
Despite differences in demography and geography, industrial base and environment, the UK and Australia share a common heritage in terms of Occupational Hygiene. The presentation will explore the differences in how both jurisdictions address the policy, regulation and practice of occupational hygiene and seeks to draw conclusions about how this can inform better workplace health outcomes.
