Update on Activities of the Asbestos Safety Eradication Agency (ASEA)

Presenter(s): Dr Georgia Khatib, ASEA Assistant Director

Georgia will be speaking on the various ASEA activities with a focus on Occupational Hygiene. The presentation will include work ASEA is undertaking to improve consistency in asbestos risk assessments and the quality of asbestos registers, as well as a detailed update on the asbestos cement roof hotspots project. The roof hotspots project is an important component of the broader ASEA research program to develop a national residential asbestos heatmap.
